Do you like to bullet journal? Me too! Today I’ll be sharing my favorite bullet journal supplies.
There are so many pens, markers, stickers, stencils and and other bullet journal supplies out on the market today. It can be overwhelming trying to decide what to buy.
I compiled a list of the best supplies for beginners so you do not have to waste time and money searching yourself. There is no better time to start your planner than now!
Bullet Journal.
There are tons of different bullet journals out there these days, but I chose to keep it simple with mine. This basic black dotted journal is perfect, and with the blank cover you can personalize it yourself to make a custom cover.
Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens.
I’m kind of a marker junkie and snob. I love trying all types of markers which has led to many favorites and also some that are not the best.
Personally, I love the feeling of felt tip markers and just enjoy the way they write. Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens are awesome and come in a wide variety of colors.
Staedtler Triplus Fineline Pens.
These pens have to be my all time favorite, I’ve been using them for years and love them! They make the perfect fine line that is super crisp.
They also have many different size packs to chose from with tons of colors. And they’re excellent for note taking. These are my all time favorite’s.
Prismacolor Beginner Handlettering Set.
This beginner calligraphy set is perfect if you want to learn calligraphy and use it in your bullet journal. This set is perfect to take your cover page to the next level.
Caliart Dual Tip Markers.
If you are looking for a dual tip marker these Caliart Dual Tip Markers are the best. They are probably the most vibrantly colored markers I’ve ever had (and I have hundreds of markers!)
Stencils.
Stencils are a great tool to use if you are just starting out. They make it easy to add fun doodles and add ons in your journal without the hassle of drawing them free hand. I especially like to use metal or stainless steel stencils because they’re durable and easy to clean.

Planner Stickers.
These custom stickers are the perfect way to jazz up your bullet journal. I was really impressed with the quality and variety. Just add your own words to the sticker and pop them into you journal. So easy and fun, these stickers make the perfect addition to any journal.
Decorative Washi Tape.
Washi tape is another way to spruce up your bullet journal. There are so many fun prints and designs. This set is one of my favorites – it’s so fun for the spring and summertime!

Remember, when you’re just starting your journal don’t think you need a bunch of glamorous supplies to make your journal. Instead start off simple there is a lot you can do with just a few supplies.
